Join Asheville Downtown Association in Pritchard Park for their annual Arts & Culture Summer Series, as they bring the park to life with art, music, and hands-on learning. FREE! No registration necessary.
TUESDAYS: Hoop Jam
Each Tuesday evening, Pritchard Park transforms into a vibrant, family-friendly hooping experience. Led by professional hula hoopers and set to a DJ soundtrack, Hoop Jam invites all ages to grab a hoop and join in the fun. Attendance typically ranges from 50–75 participants per session, with 10 events planned this summer (weather permitting).
WEDNESDAYS: Summer of Science
The Asheville Museum of Science brings hands-on learning to the heart of downtown each Wednesday evening. Enjoy fun, interactive science activities designed to spark curiosity in visitors of all ages.
THURSDAYS: Pickin’ in the Park
Celebrate Asheville’s rich musical talent every Thursday with live performances from 2–3 local artists. Each week brings a fresh lineup and a unique showcase of our community’s creative spirit.
FRIDAYS: Drum Circle
End your week on a rhythmic high with a spontaneous, open-to-all drum circle every Friday evening. Bring an instrument—or just your energy—and be part of a dynamic community jam that keeps the beat going.
