Story Times for Kids at the library focuses on early literacy as it helps children develop a joy for learning language and enjoying books. Story times are subject to cancellation or rearrangement on the schedule without notice. Please check to be sure that the story time is still scheduled to occur, at the link we’ve provided.
DESCRIPTIONS:
Wiggle Worms Storytime is an exciting, interactive music and movement storytime ideal for children 2 to 6 years
Mother Goose Storytime focuses on rhymes, songs, and simple stories to promote early literacy and is ideal for children 0 to 2 years.
Move & Groove Storytime is an exciting, interactive music and movement storytime ideal for children 2 to 6 years.
TUESDAYS:
- 10:30am-11:00am – Wiggle Worms Storytime @ Waynesville Branch (678 S Haywood St, Waynesville)
WEDNESDAYS:
- 10:30am-11:00am – Mother Goose Storytime @ Waynesville Branch (678 S Haywood St, Waynesville) … All storytimes will be held outside, weather permitting, so bring a blanket to sit on. They will move inside if the weather is poor.
THURSDAYS:
- 10:30am-11:00am – Move & Groove Storytime @ Canton Branch (11 Pennsylvania Avenue, Canton) … All storytimes will be held outside, weather permitting, so bring a blanket to sit on. They will move inside if the weather is poor.
