Dec 6th 6:00pm – Hendersonville‘s Night-Time Christmas Parade down Main Street in Downtown Hendersonville. A ribbon of festive floats and marching bands illuminating Main Street. Local businesses and organizations get into the holiday spirit as they try to out-do each other with creatively decorated and lighted vehicles and floats. The parade will start on the Island, then across the bridge, turn right onto Jerry Plemmons Way, turn left onto Bridge St, at the traffic light turn left onto Main Street, proceed thru downtown Marshall turning around at the old Farm Bureau office then proceed South on Main Street to the traffic light at the Courthouse then turn right, back to the Island.

Deck the Trees in Black Mountain and Swannanoa. Deck the Trees is an annual holiday fundraiser for the Swannanoa Valley Christian Ministry (SVCM) Fuel Fund, helping our neighbors in need to keep their homes warm during winter. This year’s theme, “Christmas in Music & Song,” will inspire more than 50 beautifully decorated trees in Swannanoa and Black Mountain. Typically, the bulk of the trees have been in the Monte Vista Hotel, but they are undergoing renovations this year. You’ll find many of them at Peri Social House, Tyson Furniture Company, White Horse Black Mountain, and Town Hardware & General Store – plus dozens of other local businesses decked out for the season this year. 19 Caddis Court in the Biltmore Lake neighborhood is a home with a sweet synchronized light show in the Enka/Candler area. This is the only home on the street with a synchronized show, but the whole street is decorated beautifully, and the neighborhood in general is a good one to drive around in for lights.
20 Sedgefield Rd, Candler has an impressive number of Christmas inflatables set up on their lawn. This home is close to the Biltmore Lake neighborhood, and although there are very few other homes in this neighborhood (Woodside Hills) that are decorated, its a quick trip to see it if you’re over in the Biltmore Lake neighborhood to view their lights.
310 Pole Barn Drive, Asheville is a home with a beautiful light display that is lit all around. The neighborhood itself, does not have much else for lights, but this house’s spirit is definitely impressive and worth a visit.

9 Rhododendron Circle in Haw Creek has a great light show.
The Kalb House at 112 Maywood Rd, Hendersonville has an impressively decorated home for Christmas, and decorates yearly.

There’s an awesome house on Crab Creek Rd in Hendersonville near Valley Hill Fire Department. There’s also a camp with a lake on Crab Creek with a beautiful display.
