Kick your #Thanksgiving celebration off with a bang at Blue Ghost and get your gobble on early!
We’re celebrating Thanksgiving Eve with music from The Freewheelin’ Mamas from 7-9PM.

The Hungry Ghost will be offering up mix and match tacos for only $2.79+tax each from 5-8ish. Choices include BBQ pork, beef, Asian chicken and veggie.

The bar will be serving pours of your favorite year-round brews and a selection of seasonal and limited releases from 4-10PM.
Children under 12 are welcome to attend until 8PM.

Paint Day “Make it Glow” (9+yrs)
MAKE IT GLOW with glow in the dark paint. Majik Studios in Asheville is offering Saturday Paint Day, an art class for kids “Make it Glow” with art teacher Julie Dugger. Ages 5-8 meets from 1:00-2:30 and ages 9+ meets from 2:45-5:15.
This month features painting a Christmas scene on canvas using glow in the dark acrylic paints. With the lights on, the kids’ finished pieces will look like a daytime Christmas scene. When kids turn the lights off, the Christmas lights they painted on their picture will glow in true Christmas fashion. This is a one-of-a-kind class kids won’t want to miss.

RosaBees and Cake’s By Gray Sugar Rush Viewing Party
Join Melissa Gray, Owner of Cakes by Gray and RosaBees , for the viewing of the Netflix original show Sugar Rush in which she was featured! Hosted by plēb urban winery on Saturday the 30th, Gray will provide free cupcakes — that were featured on the show — to anyone who joins the party. After the viewing, Gray and her baking partner Emma McShane of Verbena Cakes and Catering, will be on hand to answer questions. For those who are interested in eating at RosaBees before hand we suggest making a reservation either on Facebook or by calling the restaurant. Hope to see you there!

Turkey Day Swim Clinic (5-12yrs)
Come join us for our Turkey Day Swim Clinic! We have a few spots left and would love to have your swimmer join us.
It’s a great time for swimmers to learn new skills, learn water safety, refine old skills, and have fun!

20th Anniversary Party
The Double Decker Coffee Bus has been in Asheville on this very corner (41 Biltmore Ave) for TWENTY long years! It is a beloved staple of our town and the current owners, Jeff and Karen Lazzaro, have owned this sweet shop for TEN of those twenty years!
We will give out Raffle Tickets per beverage purchased and hourly raffle drawings! Random gifts given out throughout the day and FACE PAINTING when you buy a drink from 3-6!

Contest Guidlines
Children only 5-12 years old
All parts must be edible
Size largest 12″x12″ square or 12″ round. Height is 12″ or less.
There is no cost to enter but registration is required by December 4th.

Ribbons will be awarded to the Best of Show and Honorable Mention.We will also be giving a People’s Choice Award voted on by the public, so get your friends and family to come by and vote for you.
Winner of Best in Show and Honorable Mention will be announced at 7pm on December 6th at Art MoB. Winner of the people’s Choice Award will be announced at 3pm on Sunday Dec 8th.
Gingerbread Houses must be picked up by Dec 9th.
