Lights for Liberty: Asheville, NC

If you are appalled at the treatment of refugees in detainment camps in the United States, join us at the monument. This is part of a nationwide series of events to protest the inhumane conditions happening now in concentration camps holding children and those seeking asylum in the U.S.

Full event schedule here as details are available: https://www.facebook.com/events/2416967011716739/

Bring a candle to light up at 9:00 PM* to observe a moment of silence for the right to life, liberty and dignity for all. Our power is in our collective voice. We will not stand silently while history repeats itself. #lights4liberty #dontlookaway #endusconcentrationcamps

More info, map of detainment camps, and details to create a local event in your area here: https://www.lightsforliberty.org

*Please note the city requests no open flame, so LED candles are best.
