Preschoolers Playroom is a brand new indoor playroom for crawlers to 5 years to explore, interact and play while parents watch or join in. Climbing structure, slides, big soft blocks, foot powered racetrack, PARTY ROOMS, free coffee and WiFi and more! Each pass is good for the full day! Food is allowed, so feel free to pack a lunch and have a picnic! Same day re-admittance is also allowed if you need to take your little one home for a nap. Brevard’s annual event focusing on the variety of arts & culture available in downtown Brevard: visual, performing, writing, culinary, fashion, and the healing arts.

Arts in March will begin on Friday evening, March 22nd, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. The evening will be filled with open studios, gallery openings, artist and author meet & greets, menu specials at restaurants, live music at various locations, and more.

4th Annual Pi(e) Run

In honor of Pi Day, UNC Asheville is hosting a community fun-run. Run or walk (or skip or trot) the 3.14 mile distance, which celebrates Pi’s value. There will also be a Pi(e) Baking Contest! Bring your homemade pies to be judged and eaten by runners, and win a prize!

Proceeds will benefit the Asheville Initiative for Math at UNC Asheville and its Marvelous Math Club at Pisgah View Community Center. Marvelous Math Club uses math as a catalyst to build leadership skills, create community and provide a space where elementary school students can grow academically and socially.

The Pi Day Run is a chance to show your support for math literacy, which enhances our ability to solve problems, understand statistical concepts like risk, and to communicate effectively with numbers. Math literacy is an essential skill in our current workforce environment and will continue to grow in importance for personal economic success.

Tickets will be available January 1st, 2020 at $15, which includes a t-shirt and swag bag. The price will increase to $20 on February 15th.Tickets are on sale now! Go get yours at:
