Gingerbread House Construction Party

We had so much fun building and decorating gingerbread houses last year that we’ve decided to do it again! Join us on Sunday December 8th between 2pm and 4pm.

This year the lovely elves at Simply in downtown Marion are manufacturing the best gingerbread house products south of the North Pole. We’ll be using their delicious and sturdy gingerbread and icing to create these one of a kind homes.

Each house is $20 and includes all building materials and sugary decorations. Space in the neighborhood is limited and you must sign up by Friday December 6th.

Mom n’ Pop Up Shop at Habitat Brewing!

This one’s for the whole family! Come have a fun afternoon with (or without!) the kiddos and pups. Habitat Tavern & Commons is hosting its 2nd Annual Mom ‘n Pop Up Mini Festival on Saturday, December 8th from 12-4pm. You can shop from a few handmade crafty vendors and local wellness shop Violet Owl Wellness, enjoy hot chocolate and candy canes (plus beer, wine, kombucha, or ginger ale of course), and have a cozy holiday outing without the usual stress of holiday shopping.

There will be a hot chocolate & apple cider station for the kiddos to enjoy something sweet while the mamas get a chance to unwind with a mini shoulder massage! ♥

There will be a craft table for the kids to make a little holiday creation to take home hosted by Roots + Wings School of Art and Design, and a table hosted by Rowan Berry Farm where you or your kiddos can make some butter to take home with you! The wonderful Asheville Fairy Hairwill be here slingin’ fairy hair, so you and your littles can leave looking as festive as you feel!

We’re so excited to host this mini pop up festival again this year, and we look forward to seeing you all here!

Stan Kenton Christmas Concert

The Asheville Jazz Orchestra presents their annual Stan Kenton Christmas Concert at Trinity United Methodist Church (587 Haywood Rd., Asheville, NC 28806) at 7 pm on Friday, December 14th.

The concert is free and open to the public. A goodwill offering will be collected to benefit local charities and the Asheville Jazz Council jazz education fund.

Holiday Camp!

School is out and our Holiday Camp is IN!
Join us for TWO weeks of Holiday FUN!
December 10-14 & 17-21 from 9am-1pm each day!
A meal will be included, as well as tons of Holiday crafts and fun!

*Reservations are not required but highly recommended to reserve your child’s space! Only families that pay ahead of time will be guaranteed a space for camp*

*We will still operate with our regular drop-ins, so feel free to bring the kiddos even if they are not attended camp! *

Daily Rate: $35/one child and $20 for each additional sibling.
Weekly Rate: $125/one child, $200/two children, $275/three children, $350/four children!
