Join us to celebrate the opening of the JCC’s new early childhood wing! The ceremony will take place at the JCC on 236 Charlotte Street on Wednesday, October 24, at 4 pm. We will honor the Mandel family and all of our generous donors as we dedicate our beautiful new space with a mezuzah ceremony and live music. Light refreshments will be served. Hope to see you there!

The Queen’s Frosted Charity Ball
Join us for this Princess Christmas Spectacular with singing, story time, dancing, gifts, christmas crafts and magical memories. ‘Tis the season for magic and joy! Come make memories with you and yours at this small intimate VIP event. Get more up close and personal time with our real life Princesses and Santa himself.

At least 7 Fairytale Princesses and Santa Clause will take the stage for a Mini Concert, Dance Party, Christmas Stories, Karaoke, Crafts, and Memories that will last a lifetime. Other festivities included with VIP ticket are: 3 Photo Booths, a Professional photo with our onsite photographer, visits with Santa and our Princesses, 2 Princess Vouchers (good towards any of the activities below), 2019 Christmas Ornament making to commemorate your day, and other free crafts. Every attendee needs a ticket. Children 1 and under are free.

Youth Elevation (14-18yrs)
This coming Thursday, October 25th please join us at the Edington Center as we introduce Youth Elevation. Positive Change Youth Ministries, YTL Training Programs, Upfront Management, Asheville Writers in School and My Community Matters have collaborated to bring an IDA program to our youth. If you have a high school student, age 14-18, please join us to learn about the exciting opportunities that are coming. This information session will start at 5:30. We will have refreshments and lots of information to share!

Pumpkin Carving & Pints
Get ready for Halloween at Craft Centric with Pints & Pumpkin Carving. Either BYOP (Bring Your Own Pumpkin) or use our ticket link to have one here and waiting for you! Pumpkins will be $10. If you’re bringing your own pumpkin and would like to enter the competition it will be $5 day of.
You can freestyle something creative and we’ll also have stencils on hand!
We’ll have prizes for Best Pumpkin in the Child’s (12 and under) category and Most Creative Pumpkin & Best Technically Executed in the Adult category.
