Parents Night Out (3rd-7th Grade)

It’s our FINAL Parents Night Out of the season — and we’re going out with a HOORAY! 🎉

Give Thanks for Thanksgiving at Pack Library!

What’s better than saying thank you to someone you love? Come on in and give thanks! Throughout the month of November, children may use our special Thank You Card Kit write a thank you card.  Show the librarian your addressed envelope and we’ll even give you postage.  You’ll have everything you need to give thanks!

Really Scary Stories! (6th-12th Grade & Adults)

Celebrate the spirits of Halloween with Adam’s spooky stories, including traditional and original stories and songs about ghosts (haints, haunts, & boogers), witches, inexplicable phenomena, and strange creatures. YES, people jump and call out during these tales, even high school students and adults! NO, these programs are not for young or immature listeners.  Free tickets will be available beginning October 13th.  Sponsored by the Friends of the Weaverville Library.

Family Fun Day

We will be having a Family Fun Day to celebrate the apple season AND to raise awareness for Childhood Cancer!
There will be face painting, tractor/wagon rides, pony rides ($5 donation/ride), and an antique tractor show. We’ll also have a local Bluegrass band there playing some great music and good local food. There will also be a raffle for Dollywood and Biltmore House tickets! As always, we’ll have our fresh-picked apples and baked goods available, as well as our playground and pumpkin house.

Frog Level Holiday Market

Everything you need from crafts, fair food/atmosphere, music, pottery, olive oil, coffee, antiques,….oh, and beer/beer gifts!! Mr & Mrs Santa will be at the Holiday Market from 10am – 2pm , Bring your Christmas List , take pictures with Santa , Free Face Painting by Lighthouse Art (10am – 2pm)

Ingrids Food Pantry Fundraiser

Tacos, Burritos, Taco Salad and More. Each meal includes homemade desserts and drinks

7:00 donation per plate

All proceeds will go to Ingrids Food Pantry to help give needy families a Thanksgiving meal this year.
