Father’s Day Ping Pong Deal

Come on down for a Rockin’ Sunday Funday! Our Taqueria will be serving up tacos, the bar will be serving drinks, sweet tunes will be spinning, and Ping Pong will be GOING ON! Come Get YO’ Pong On!

This is an all ages event!

$12~30 minute table
$20~60 minute table

In honor of Father’s Day; Dads will get $5 off all 60 minute tables.

Tables are up for grabs on a first come first serve basis.
To reserve a table in advance, email PongAVL828@gmail by 5pm the day before.

Fancy Nancy DIY (3-10yrs)

Create a tutu, tiara, and other fancy things with materials provided! Dressing up encouraged. For ages 3-10.

BRYSON CITY: Red, White & Steam Festival (see description for times)

This Fourth of July weekend, Bryson City is the place to be! Celebrate America’s birthday with three days of red, white, and rail-powered fun at the Red, White & Steam Festival, hosted at the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad. It’s a high-energy, family-friendly event filled with small-town charm and Smoky Mountain spirit.

Festival Hours:

  • Thursday, July 4 | 9 AM – 10 PM
  • Friday, July 5 | 9 AM – 6 PM
  • Saturday, July 6 | 9 AM – 6 PM

What to Expect:

  • Local vendors offering crafts, gifts, and handmade goods
  • Live music and entertainment throughout the day
  • Family-friendly games and activities for all ages
  • Food trucks, sweet treats, and summer favorites
  • Scenic railroad atmosphere and vintage train vibes

Whether you’re a local or visiting from out of town, make your way to Railroad Square for a weekend full of fun, food, and festivities right alongside the historic Great Smoky Mountains Railroad.

FREEDOM TRAIN!

Celebrate Independence Day aboard our Freedom Train! This patriotic evening departure leaves at 7PM ON JULY 4TH for a 2-hour and 15-minute round-trip ride through the scenic Smokies. Enjoy delicious food included with your ticket as we cruise toward a scenic stop perfect for capturing sunset views—please note, there is no layover and passengers must remain onboard. You’ll return to town just in time to catch the fireworks show and end your 4th with a bang!

Bulldog Block Party

UNC Asheville Athletics, Ingles Markets, and the Reuter Family YMCA are partnering to bring back the “Bulldog Block Party” to Town Square Green at Biltmore Park. Join us for this free event on Thursday, October 16 from 5:30pm – 7:30pm featuring family-friendly fun, games, live music by Lyric, sports clinics with Bulldog student-athletes, activities hosted by YMCA and Ingles,  and even meet Rocky!

Local youth and community members alike will discover the educational and athletic opportunities available at UNC Asheville and learn about the YMCA’s programs that can help develop their skills and build character along that journey. Information will be available about upcoming Bulldog promotions and events, including UNC Asheville Basketball season tickets and other sporting events. Families can take advantage of the convenient location and explore the incredible array of shops and restaurants that Biltmore Park has to offer.

BOGO Lunch Entree in honor of Best Friends Day

Brixx Brings People Together! Show their Facebook post to them from 11am to 3pm on Best Friends Day – Friday, June 8 – for a BOGO lunch entree. Call up your best friend, partner, spouse or work spouse and make plans to enjoy time and food together.
