This monthly Line Dancing Party is an opportunity for area Line Dancers to come together, socialize and celebrate our love of Line Dancing! There will be quick “walk-throughs” of all the Beginner and Improver dances. At least 95% of the dances are split-floor. Something for everyone! Come and join the Tryon Community for our 2nd annual Afro-Fest, with a little more SIZZLE… Afro-Latino Fest! This festival celebrates and unifies the cultural cornerstones of African and Latino heritage through live music, food, artisans, vendors and more. Downtown Tryon will be transformed into a marketplace of African/Latino favorites paired with jamming music for a sizzling family fiesta. We will feature something for everyone, and attendees can journey through various represented countries and experience their people, music, art, food, and culture.
This integrated event will be held on, Saturday, May 12th from 2 pm to 8 pm on Trade Street. Admission is free to the public and the event is kid friendly! Tryon is a friendly and sophisticated small town. It’s a collaborative town where people work together on projects and support each other. Support from the community is integral to its success, and organizers are pleased with the support they’ve received thus far!
