It Takes A Village FUNdraiser

Fundraiser featuring music by Queen Bee and The HoneyLovers, Raffles, craft sale and children activities for our incredible village of families.

 

About Sacred Mountain Sanctuary: We offer nature based education; a 90 acre Sanctuary, a working farm with gardens, fruit orchards, horses, sheep, bunnies, chickens and Pyrenees guardian dogs, creeks, forest and a pristine spring for our drinking water. Our educational program is Waldorf based, holistic and academic! The children are in fresh air, no artificial lights in classrooms and our classrooms are WiFi free. Come enjoy delicious food at Kathmandu Cafe, bid on some incredible raffle items and get to know us and learn more about what our our Learning Village has to offer your children and family.

Budo Mountain Expansion Reveal Party

Get to know other dojo families or interested families and learn about all the new things we’ll be offering this fall! We’ll have the new class schedule (including adult classes with childcare!), info on our new After School program, a quick showcase of what makes our martial art so awesome, and special deals for event attendees!

Student Paramedic Association Third Annual Car Show

Come out and show support for your local AB-Tech Student Paramedic Association! All proceeds from the S.P.A Third Annual Car Show goes directly to the S.P.A to help with educational trips, gear, and supplies. There will be music, food and raffle prizes!

Classes for Cars, Trucks, and Bikes. All styles welcome! Trophies will be awarded to each category.

Cat Yoga & Coffee

Calling all cat enthusiasts, cat lovers and cat admirers! These are a few of your favorite things:

What to expect:
Cats, Yoga, Coffee, Casual cat meet up w/ adoptable kitties from FurEver Friends Animal Rescue!

FYI: The yoga class is a ticketed event, as we only have space for a certain amount of humans + cats. However, from 2-3pm we will be open to the public to allow people to come in, donate, and take a peek at the adorable/adoptable cats and MAYBE even find their #fureverfriend!

This event is in collaboration w/ Asheville Cat Weirdos and FurEver Friends Animal Rescue, we are hosting a #caturday yoga, stretching and coffee event 1x per month! Stay tuned for future events. 😊

About the cats:
There will be adoptable felines starring the show from Furever Friends Animal Rescue!

About the yoga class:
This class will be a gentle, all levels yoga class. GREAT for beginners/cat enthusiasts/people who like holding cats during yoga. It’s also a great class for those who like stretching + chilling out. And as always, we will make time for a 10 min cat nap (savasana) 😉

Live Mixed Ecstatic Dance Wave by Robert Kochka at WWC

Please join us in the wonderful Bryson Gym (that has a beautiful, bouncy, and very large wooden dance floor) on the campus of Warren Wilson College in Swannanoa for an extended single wave Sunday April 15.

Robert Kochka, AMC dancer and DJ extraordinaire will be Live Mixing this wave! Not to be missed 🙂

‘Need A Kittie? We’ve Got ‘Em’ Pet Adoption Event

Sunday is the last chance that Brandi has to get her $10 gift card by being adopted. She is very friendly, active, and engaging. We have lots of other adoptable felines that we’ve rescued from high kill shelters. Come see us!

A Day of Free Yoga, Tai Chi, and Kung Fu Classes!

On Saturday, April 28th Dragon Phoenix will have a day of Free Classes open to the public! Yoga, Tai Chi, and Kung Fu
Come and meet some of our new Yoga teachers.
Tea and light snacks will be provided as well as a chance to win a 10 Class Pack or Dragon Phoenix apparel!

We will also be having free CBD Oil sampling and consulting courtesy of Hemp Magik.
