2017 Veterans Day Observance
The Town of Weaverville will hold its 2017 Veterans Day Observance at 11:00 AM, on Saturday, November 11, at Lake Louise Park. The guest speaker will be Sgt. First Class Peter Gonzalez, Center Commander, Asheville Army Recruiting Center. Sgt. Gonzalez is a 14-year veteran and lives with his wife and three children in Woodfin, NC. The program will also feature the Reuter Center Singers, the North Buncombe High School JROTC, the Weaverville Police Department rifle squad, and bagpiper Howard Dusenbery.
The event is open to the public and your attendance is encouraged.
