Sensory Friendly Family Movie: ‘The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh’

KAPLAN AUDITORIUM:  The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.  Rated G.  This movie presentation will incorporate methods to make the event comfortable for patrons with sensory processing issues. We will leave lights up, turn the sound down low, and provide space for movement.  Patrons are invited to bring their own soft items such as cushions, pillows, toys,  or blankets.  Families may bring their own light snacks. Total running time is 74 minutes.

Indies 1st Secret Horses Party

Meet Megan Shepherd, Author of the new middle grade novel The Secret Horses of Briar Hill. We’re having a special horse-themed party to celebrate Secret Horses! Refreshments will be served. Book signing to follow. This is a free event, and all ages are welcome.

When you buy a copy of the book from Spellbound, now through the end of the party, $2 of your purchase will be donated to the equine therapy program at Eliada.

Indies First is a national celebration of independent bookstores that coincides with Small Business Saturday on the Saturday after Thanksgiving each year.
