Morse Park and Flowering Bridge Hike
This is an easy stroll in downtown Lake Lure, NC. We will meet at Morse Park, walk the trail through the park, then make our way to the flowering bridge before returning to the playground for free play and picnic. Little walker and stroller friendly. Along the way, we will see beautiful views of Lake Lure and the Hickory Nut Gorge.

Trunk or Treat
We are looking for trickers and treaters! Come join our trunk or treat. Bring your kids or decorate your vehicle and pass out candy. We will have LOTS of fun!
***Please remember*** NO clown costumes or clown displays whatsoever. If you are seen in one you will be asked to leave the premises!
This is kid friendly and meant to be fun for them.

Halloween Organ Concert
Join us for the Second Annual Halloween Organ Concert presented by Trinity United Methodist Church’s Organist, Nolan Anthony. This spooktacular event will be held on Saturday, October 29th at 7:00pm. Nolan will be performing awe-inspiring music by Bach, Franck, Vierne and more.
The concert is free of charge and open to the community. Come in costume and add to the fun! A ghoulish reception will follow the concert.

Christmas Worship in a Stable
Informally worship and celebrate, in a quiet and special way, the Birth of Jesus through singing carols; hearing special music, scripture, and story; sitting on hay bales in an historic barn and all in the presence of Mary, Joseph, baby Jesus, donkey, sheep and shepherds. Free and for all ages. Dress warmly and casually. May bring a non-perishable food item for The Community Kitchen in Canton to be placed at the Manger.
Directions: I/40, Exit 33. Turn left at exit (onto Newfound Rd) if coming from Maggie Valley/ Waynesville or right if coming from Candler/Asheville. Continue on Newfound Rd, going less than a mile, to N. Hominy Rd and “fork” left. Take quick first right onto Frank Mann Rd and park in large grassy area next to the big barn. Entrance is behind the two tall silos. Handicap accessible.
