Grand Opening event
After losing their farm when nearly everything was destroyed during Hurricane Helene, they are finally able to announce their re-opening and a celebration is in order!
No appointment needed, no cost to enter. Just stop by for as long as you’d like!
Meet 20+ llamas (including 2 babies!!), love on them, take them through an obstacle course, feed them treats, and get your own photo in their kissing booth!
They will have their llama train for the kids and a guided tractor tour through their apple orchard for all ages.
They will have the Groovy Grease Wagon and The Sweet Retreat joining them to deliver food and snacks. Eat your dinner surrounded by llamas! They will also be selling delicious apple cider slushies and State Fair donuts!

FREE Community Scoops
The Hop returns to bring a little sweetness! From 1–4pm on Saturday, July 19th, we’ll be set up at Terra Nova Beer Co. (204 Whitson Ave) with Free Ice Cream. On the menu? Local favorite Root Down Naner Puddin’ and other dairy and vegan flavors.
This event is part of our Community Scoops initiative—started in the wake of Hurricane Helene as a pay-it-forward effort to bring joy to our WNC neighbors. Through the generosity of people near and far (some even across the world!), we’ve been able to offer free scoops to the community.
As Swannanoa continues to rebuild, we hope you’ll come out to show love and support to the local businesses that are open, ready, and excited to welcome you. Your presence helps this community thrive again.
