Annual Monarch Tag and Release

This is our annual tag and release of the monarch butterfly, We net and tag both wild butterflies from the field and those that we raise to send them down to Mexico. Kids have great time netting and tagging in our flowering fields, so do adults for that matter. This is a free event for the family with donations accepted.

We have a few nets to allow kids to catch monarchs from our flower fields and will have a drawing to get a chance to get a new insect net during the event. In case of rain, the event will be canceled.
