S’Mores & A Movie Night

Come cozy up at Blue Ghost over s’mores and a movie.

– There are no tickets required for admission.

– S’mores packages will be available for purchase from The Hungry Ghost starting at 5PM & we’ll have mini fires for you to melt your marshmallows on!

– We’ll be showing the classic film Back to the Future at 6:30PM.

– This event will be curfew free which means children under 12 may stay at the brewery past 8PM. The movie will start at 6:30PM but come early to grab dinner, beers & your s’mores package!

Burton Street Agricultural Fair 

Saturday, September 15, 12noon-6pm
Location: Burton Street Center
Organized by the Burton Street Neighborhood Association, this is a free community event with music by local artists, free food and a children’s area. Come learn about the history of E.W. Pearson and about the memories of important people in our community with the neighborhood association.

Hendersonville Oktoberfest

Enjoy an authentic Oktoberfest celebration in Hendersonville’s Historic 7th Avenue District. Enjoy music from the Mountain Top Polka Band, polka dance instruction, fest games for the whole family, German food and beer. This year we will be extending the Dachshund lanes!

4th Annual GEICO Motorcycle HOT BIKE TOUR

Heads up! Hundreds of motorcycle enthusiasts are coming to downtown Asheville this September! The 4th Annual GEICO Motorcycle HOT BIKE TOUR is starting off its 5-day tour in Asheville on Wednesday, September 7th at Pack Square Park and the Renaissance Asheville Hotel.

Featuring 28 professional custom bike builders building one-of-a-kind motorcycles AND riding them each day of the tour, Asheville’s kick-off of the Hot Bike Tour will include a live musical performance by The Dirty Soul Revival at Pack Square Park, a featured 2016 exhaust line from Asheville-based Rinehart Racing, and a slew of editors, staff, and photographers from the national magazines Hot Bike Magazine, Baggers Magazine, and Street Chopper! FREE to spectators!

FREE Guided Hike Up On The Mountain Above Emerald Village

TAKE A HIKE! Saturday, September 3rd or Sunday, September 4th you’ll have a chance to take a free guided hike up on the mountain above Emerald Village to see a small hidden mine with a curious history! Two different free hikes are offered both days at 11:30 AM and 2:15 PM. Learn the amazing geologic history of these mines and get some healthy exercise too! Come Saturday or Sunday to RockFest at Emerald Village in Little Switzerland, NC. Emerald Village Rocks!

The hike is moderately strenuous and lasts about 45 minutes. It starts with a 15 minute talk at a mine, then the hike.
