‘Jerusalem Marketplace’ Vacation Bible School (4-12yrs)

June 13th-17th, 5:45pm-8:45pm

It’s that time of the year again, and this year we are trying out something new.  We will be holding vacation bible school in the evenings in hopes to have more participate in the program.  We will start with dinner at 5:45pm followed by the program.  Come sing and dance, play games and make crafts and listen and watch Bible stories come alive in this year’s Vacation Bible School “Jerusalem Marketplace.” We will dress in costume and share marketplace activities. We’ll create crafts such as making a musical instrument, pottery, weaving, bread-making and more. Every day we will hear stories of Jesus and His love for us.

This year, because we meet in the evening, there will be an opportunity for adult study, led by Fr. Doug. It’s called The Greatest Story: Jesus, an exciting study of the life and ministry of Jesus through the eyes of the Gospel narratives: Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Includes discussion and fascinating video story introductions. It will be great for parents of VBS participants (so you can sound really knowledgeable when talking about Jesus!), and for any who want to dig in to these wonderful stories. Curiosity is preferred; previous experience with the stories not required.

The entire family can enjoy the activities that are geared for children ages 4 through 12. Children under 4 are welcome, but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian age 18 or older.  Registration forms may be found in the Church office, on table in front of office and in Old Well Hall.
