Are you interested in learning how to use a woven wrap but don’t know where to start? Lyndsi Devito, Trained Babywearing Consultant, is really excited to offer this new class. She will go over all the basics to help you get started wrapping your baby. This style carrier is perfect for newborns through toddlerhood and can be worn on the front, back, and hip. During this class you will learn what size wrap will work best for your needs. Lyndsi will also teach a few front and hip carry techniques to help you get started on your wrapping journey.

A crime has been committed at the museum, and we need your help to solve it! We will be collecting evidence and conducting forensic experiments to determine who committed the crime.

Does your child enjoy tinkering? Join us as we create new things using all sorts of odds and ends. Campers will use computers and specialized equipment such as laser cutters, 3D printers, soldering irons and much more!

Put on your safety goggles! We are going to explore the three states of matter and conduct some really cool science experiments. Campers will make soda bottles erupt and rockets soar! We’ll also deep-freeze things using Liquid Nitrogen, a substance that is -322 degrees Fahrenheit! From test tubes and beakers to colorful mixtures, this camp will be a BANG!

Reptiles, Mammals, Amphibians—oh my! Campers will spend the entire week discovering the Animal Kingdom. Together we’ll see and touch LIVE animals. We will also discover where our animal friends live, and the resources they need for survival.
Art Medium Mania

Campers will create unique works of art using various types of art mediums. From crayons and markers, to shaving cream and mud, campers will discover how a wide variety of art mediums can be used to create a beautiful masterpiece.

KidSenses is an interactive children’s museum located in downtown Rutherfordton, NC near Asheville, Charlotte and Hendersonville. Our museum is great for field trips and family fun!
