Fridays 11:00am-8:00pm (they stop serving at 7:15pm) – Fondue Friday at The Chocolate Lab Of Asheville! Choose your chocolate (white, milk, dark, peanut butter, s’more, spicy or caramel chocolate) and 3 dippers (bananas, marshmallows, pretzels, graham crackers, cherries, apples, pineapple or strawberries), and get to dippin’! Dine in. One pot serves between 2-4 people. $13.00 a pot. No age limits.

11th Annual Square Dance, Potluck, & Raffle
Wow, we’ve past a decade and are now hosting our 11th Annual Square Dance?! We’d love to have you join us in this yearly celebration of continued harvest by and for our community. This is family potluck style with dancing, garden tours, garden games, and a big ole raffle with local items.
This is a family friendly event with activities for children too. Please bring a dish to share if you are able and we will have beer and wine available.
Suggested $10 donation for individuals and $25 for a family. Rain date to be Sunday, May 26th.

Summer Drop In Day Camp (1-7yrs)
Our summer camp sessions are available for children 1-7 years old. Emphasis is on outdoor play, science activities, creative arts and crafts, and music and movement. Summer activities include water play days with our water slide, sprinklers, pools, and water tables. We will also have gym games and relays, snow cone says and picnics. Classes have weekly themes relevant to each age group.
SESSION ONE: Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays, JUNE 13 – 29 … “SUPER HEROES” Our “Super Hero Training Camp” encourages children to create their own super heroes. Besides designing their own costumes and masks, children will discover their own “super powers” that will help them be more kind, caring and helpful
SESSION TWO: Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays, JULY 11 – 27 … “A BUG’S LIFE” Children love bugs! We will explore the world of bugs, insects and all sorts of creepy crawlies as we observe them, move like them, paint them, sing about them and possibly even hold them!

Annual Asheville-Buncombe Memorial Day Concert and Ceremony
The City of Asheville and Buncombe County will host a Memorial Day Ceremony at 2:30 p.m. May 27 at the Bascom Lamar Lunsford Stage, Roger McGuire Green in Pack Square Park. The ceremony will feature short readings by local veterans and live patriotic music. Asheville Mayor Esther Manheimer and Buncombe County Board of Commissioners Chairman Brownie Newman will participate in a Recognition of Service.
