Four concerts under the 250 year old Oak Tree! Join us for some awesome free music, good beer, ice cream and fun! Join us the first Sunday of every month July-October for a celebration of live music, craft beer, and the community in which we live! This year, concerts will be held in Firefly Field! Bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy tunes from some of you areas best local performers!

Asheville Insight Meditation is excited to begin a new monthly program of family mindfulness meditation! Study after study is showing that children who learn mindfulness techniques experience lower levels of stress and anxiety, deepen a sense of empathy, and develop better concentration.
We’ll sit for a short period in silence together, followed by a mindfulness-related activity and discussion. The session may also include mindful movement, play, music, or other appropriate group activities to compliment that session’s theme.

December’s focus is on “filling the bucket” — giving yourself and others love and kindness. In Buddhist practice, we call this metta, but kindness, love, and good thoughts are universal practices!
We’ll do some lovingkindness meditation, read a great book about “filling the bucket”, and do a fun craft that will encourage us to spread the love!
