The Fit Family Challenge is a free event open to all families. You simply register online and track your family’s activity and healthy habits with a mobile app. You then accumulate points that will enter you in drawings for some amazing prizes, including a week-long trip to Universal Studios.

Starting on Monday and finishing on Friday this summer camp is a must for your kids during the summer.
Monday, a complete Mixed Martial Arts day to start off the week. Multiple activities, games and lessons and a soft intro in the world of mixed martial arts.
Tuesday, we will teach survival in the wilderness. This day will increase their survival skills in the real world.
Wednesday, guest speaker and firearms instructor Travis rector with Overwatch Defense will demonstrate safe handgun handling and accident prevention with firearms.
Thursday, I will dive a little deeper into the mixed martial arts schooling. On this day, we will talk about bullies and protecting our friends along with self respect and discipline.
On Friday, it’s our party day! A little more laid back, fun games and activities. Each day will contain a fitness routine, and keeping active.
This camp is unlike any other camp. It functions as a life saving schooling but yet the kids have fun doing so!
All kids will be responsible for having breakfast before camp and bringing their lunches. Snacks will be served in the afternoon before they are ready for pickup at 5:30. Drop off in the morning is at 8:00am. You may drop off your child anytime after 8:00am and may pick them up earlier in the afternoon. If you choose to do so, however recognize our days are full of learning so the time missed is a learning experience lost.

Join us for the most relaxing and refreshing yoga class around, in our quiet Saturday morning sanctuary!
Wes Sparks attained his yoga teaching certification in 2006 at the Sivananda Ashram Yoga Ranch in Woodbourne, New York. He holds the title of Yoga Siromani from The International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centre. His class promotes the fundamental perspective of Hatha Yoga, falling under the path of Raja Yoga, being a method for improving our concentration. We hold our attention to the body and the breath to focus our mind, our awareness. All of the different paths of yoga lead to a stronger connection to our “true or authentic” self. This true self only exists, of course, in the present moment. In the here and now is where we are real, alive. We practice coming to this moment by coming into the body, into our breath. This style of practice is repetitious, attempting to make this reconnection to the body/moment a habit in our daytoday lives.
Our style of yoga is “classical,” based on the Sivananda lineage. For beginners to advanced students, Wes incorporates mindful breathing and relaxation with stretching, sun salutations, and classical yoga postures. Students are encouraged to draw upon these elements of breath, relaxation and concentration to transform their experience of life, developing these internal resources to better navigate their daily lives with confidence, clarity, patience and compassion for themselves and others.
Class time is approximately one hour and fifteen minutes. Please make sure you bring your own mat to class, The Altamont Theatre does not have any yoga supplies.
