Botanical Gardens Toddler Ramble Hike

Hike TOMORROW, Tuesday, March 22nd at 10:30am

Come tomorrow to check out the spring flowers and plants! We’ll take a stroll along the short loop and then find a spot to snack and let the kiddos play a bit.

Please keep in mind that the Botanical Gardens is more like a museum than a park–we want our wee ones to have fun and explore, but we also need to be prepared to help them respect the plants, etc.

We’ll meet off to the left of the gift shop/visitors’ center. Stroller and little walker friendly!

Annual Calico Critter Easter Celebration

Easter is a week away, and you know what that means…our annual Calico Critter Celebration is here! Hop on by this Saturday, March 26th, for a free Easter party. From 1-2pm in Asheville and 3-4pm in Hendersonville, we will have crafts, face painting, raffles, prizes, snacks, an egg hunt for little ones, and a visit from a special bunny mascot. You won’t want to miss this special event!

Come Drum, Dance, Be a Freak or Just Stare

Drum Circle in downtown Asheville. “We drum outside year round, weather permitting, but generally not in the winter. We drum from about 6:00 until 9:45 every Friday night in Pritchard Park. Bring your own instrument. Seating available. Come dance, drum, be a freak or just stare.

Yes there will be drumming this Friday at Pritchard park, weather permitting, all through Spring, Summer and Fall until it gets too cold. There are often extra Drums. But no Guarantees. We all appreciate if you listen to the other drummers and play along with, rather than just at the same time. All are welcomed. Per the city we end at 9:45. Please respect that, or it causes problems for all of us. Also per the city, no dogs, smoking or commerce. Enjoy! Thanks!”
