The WNC Home, Garden and Green Living Show comes to the ExploreAsheville.com Arena March 17-19, 2017. Tickets are available through the USCC Box Office, charge by phone at 1-800-745-3000, or order online. Prices listed below.

The WNC Home, Garden and Green Living Show will feature products and services for the home, garden and an eco-friendly lifestyle. Asheville home builders will display the latest in home construction techniques, materials, products, green building and more. Companies will be exhibiting home furnishings, eco-friendly transportation, lawn and garden equipment, landscaping, clean energy products, pools and spas, home financing, health & wellness, educational institutions, appliances, home security and entertainment, decorating ideas, decks and patios, sporting goods, heating and cooling equipment, pet products, green businesses, home repair and renovation, and much more.

Tickets will be on sale at the box office during event hours.  ALL TICKETS INCLUDE DAILY SEMINARS AND WORKSHOPS!

Blue Ridge Roller Derby Home Bout

Roller Derby is a sport that not only features pure athleticism, but a punch of serious fun. Founded in June of 2006, Blue Ridge Roller Derby make up Asheville, NC’s first flat track roller derby league. We are a member of the official Women’s Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA) and follow WFTDA’s motto, “by the skaters, for the skaters.”

  • March 29th, 2025: Blue Ridge Roller Derby is excited to announce our first bout of 2025, Roller n Holler. This is a fundraiser triple header in which proceeds will benefit families in the Haywood County area affected by Hurricane Helene. There will be fun halftime games and prizes for winners from local Buncombe and Haywood Co businesses. And the concession stand will be open with food and drink, including veg and gf options, as well as treats sold by Budgie’s Bakery. Doors will open at 1:00. At 2pm Blue Ridge Junior Roller Derby will hold a half-hour exhibition bout. At 3:00pm the Retrogrades (our B team) will take on the Gainesville Roller Rebels from Florida. Finally, at 5:00pm, we will have our Roller n Holler mixup bout featuring our own Y’all Star skaters along with skaters from other leagues across the Southeast/East Coast (rosters are full and skater signups are now closed). This is a family friendly event. Duck Duck Goose Children’s Consignment Spring/Summer Event

The goal of Duck-Duck-Goose is to provide a wonderful place to find well cared for children and teen clothing, baby equipment, toys and furniture.

The benefits of joining with other moms to have an event such as this, is to provide a common place to buy and sell items that have a specific focus- KIDS!

Craft Fair of the Southern Highlands

The Craft Fair of the Southern Highlands returns to downtown Asheville’s Harrah’s Cherokee Center. Over 100 juried artisans of the Southern Highland Craft Guild will fill both the concourse and arena levels of the venue. Visitors are invited to explore a variety of fine American craft ranging from contemporary to traditional works of clay, wood, metal, glass, fiber, natural materials, paper, leather, mixed media, and jewelry. A Thousand Cranes stage production

A Thousand Cranes is the true, poignant story of Sadako Sasaki.

Sadako was only two years old when the Hiroshima bomb fell and she seemed to be unharmed. But at twelve, she was diagnosed with radiation sickness.  With boundless optimism, she takes an old story to heart:  “If a sick person folds a thousand paper cranes, the gods will grant her wish and make her well again.”

A Thousand Cranes is a Studio 52 production.
