Benefit for The Center for Craft, Creativity & Design
April 22 & 23 (10am – 6pm) & April 24 (11am – 5pm)
On April 22 – 24, Grovewood Gallery will host a benefit for The Center for Craft, Creativity & Design (CCCD), a national nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the field of craft through fostering new ideas, funding craft scholarships, and backing the next generation of makers, curators and critics. During the benefit, visitors will be able to save 10% on all ceramic art, enter a free raffle for a Made in WNC prize pack, and enjoy an artist demonstration by Brent Skidmore. 10% of sales from this 3 day event will go towards supporting free public programming at Benchspace Gallery & Workshop, CCCD’s exhibition space in downtown Asheville.

UNC Asheville Baseball vs. Tennessee: Vs Cancer Game
UNC Asheville Baseball will take on the Tennessee Vols here in Asheville at McCormick Field, home of the Asheville Tourists, March 15th. The Baseball team is raising money for the Vs. Cancer Foundation to benefit kid’s cancer at the game and will be shaving their heads post-game.

Women’s Basketball vs. Charleston Southern
Your UNC Asheville Women’s Basketball team is tied for 1st in the Big South Conference standings, and we need your support in this final stretch of the season! We will welcome Charleston Southern to Kimmel Arena Tuesday night as we also celebrate the champions of youth basketball in the Asheville area. All players with a youth jersey will receive complimentary admission to cheer on the Dogs!
