Mills River Day 2025

Alright y’all – get excited!! MILLS RIVER DAY is coming back to @northriverfarms! This time with a day full of sunshine! ☀️

Local vendors, Food Trucks, 3 Local Bands, Tractor Show & Plow Day, @davisranchwnc Open Horse Show, Local Emergency Services, Fly Fishing Demos from DB bar D Outfitters, Farm Animals, ….and the list goes onnnnnnn!!

🎈This is a free to attend family event and ALL are welcome to join us!

Brunch with the Bunny

Join us at Mills River School Cafeteria (94 School House Rd., Mills River, NC 28759) on Saturday, April 1, 2023, from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.
All ages and abilities are welcome.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
The cost is $25 per family.
Guests will enjoy a pancake breakfast, crafts, and a photo op with the bunny! Bring your own camera!

Folkmoot Family Pop-Up: Spring Edition!

Folkmoot USA presents our first ever Folkmoot Family Pop-up: Spring Edition!
Bring the kids down to the Queen Auditorium on Saturday, April 1, 2023, from 9:30 to 11:00 AM, for an exciting morning filled with Cookie Decorating, Spring Themed Crafts, Story Time, and a Photo Booth!
$15.00 Ticket Price covers admission, events, and beverages for 1 Parent and 1 Child. Additional tickets can be purchased at $5.00 for each additional parent or child.

Easter Weekend Delights and Activities, April 7th-9th

APRIL 7TH:

  • April 7th • 4:30pm @ GREAT HALL … Major Bunny Appearance. Kick off the weekend with a visit from our lovable mascot, who will be dressed in his Easter Bunny best.

APRIL 8TH:

  • April 8th • 1-3pm @ SKYLINE … Holiday Craft Party. Create holiday-themed crafts and enjoy fun entertainment such as face painting.
  • April 8th • 2-4pm @ SKYLINE … Cookie Decorating Party. Decorate your own Easter-themed sweet treat and eat it too!

APRIL 9TH:

  • April 9th • 8:30am @ SEELY PAVILION … Easter Morning Worship Service. Start your Easter morning with music and words of encouragement at our non-denominational service.
  • April 9th • 11am-12:30pm @ GREAT HALL … Major Bunny’s Scav-Egg-Er Hunt. Spot the hidden eggs that will lead you to Major Bunny’s farmers market to receive a special treat. Feel free to snap a photo with Major Bunny to share with family and friends. Pick up your map and stickers from the Concierge desk. Scavenger hunt recommended for children ages 10 and under.
  • April 9th • Noon-5:30pm @ BLUE RIDGE … Easter Brunch Buffet. Enjoy a feast for your eyes and palate at our special Easter brunch buffet. Reservations required.

DAILY:

  • Daily at the Concierge Desk … Audio History Tour of the hotel. Delve into the storied past of our historic resort. We recommend bringing your own earphones for the tour.
  • Daily @ Laurel 3:00pm-5:00pm … Family Movie Screening. Enjoy a film with family and friends, right here on property.

Easter Scavenger Hunt

April 18th-20th, 2025

Discover 25 giant Easter eggs in Biltmore House, their historic gardens and Antler Hill Village! This fun take on an estate tradition invites you and your kids to learn fun facts about the estate and experience its beauty as you search for giant beautifully decorated eggs. Find and snap photos with each egg, then leave them behind for the next “hunter” as you move on to the next!

Included in Daytime Admission, with the Biltmore Annual Pass, or with a stay at one of the estate’s splendid overnight properties. Participants will receive a map when they arrive.

Spring Egg-stravaganza

FREE! Fun for kids of all ages! No matter what the weather will be, WE ARE GOING TO HAVE A BLAST!
There will be LOTS of indoor games, a small bounce house for the little ones and a GIANT inflated slide for the bigger kids! We will also have door prizes, face painting, popcorn, lemonade, candy, eggs to hunt, and so much more.
The FUN will be taking place in our Gym located behind the church.
