Downtown After 5 Asheville Concert Series

Downtown After 5 is more than just a concert series—it’s a community staple that celebrates the diversity and creativity of Asheville. Each event is free to the public, thanks to the generous support of our sponsors and partners, drawing an enthusiastic crowd of between 5,000 to 6,000 attendees. Food and beverage vendors will be on-site alongside a marketplace component where attendees can explore and shop handmade crafts from local makers. Join us at Pack Square Park for these unforgettable evenings of music, community, and celebration.

👏 Each event also highlights a local nonprofit partner doing important work in our community.

WNC Charity Fire Truck Pull

The WNC Charity Fire Truck Pull will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. till 7:00 p.m. in the Expo Building. Come watch as teams from across the Carolinas compete in a double-elimination bracket to pull two fire trucks in a race for the best time. For more information, please visit the link below.

FREE Spring Home Depot Kids Workshop – Poolside Birdhouse

Kids Workshops at all area Home Depot stores! In addition to bringing families together, The Home Depot’s Kids Workshops create a hands-on learning experience that sparks creativity, promotes problem-solving and encourages social interaction for the youngest generation of DIYers. Each month a new seasonal-themed workshop is offered. All tools and materials needed to complete the Workshop are available and a Home Depot Associate is there to assist families as necessary. All Kids in attendance get to keep their craft, and receive a certificate of achievement, a kid-sized Home Depot Workshop Apron, and a commemorative pin while supplies last. All Kids Workshop attendees must be accompanied by a parent or adult at all times. All FREE.

DIY CHILDREN’S WORKSHOP & EASTER EGG HUNT

Join us for an Egg Hunt in the studio and then DIY a cute sign for their room! Select a wood project from the available options in our gallery. We provide all the materials and instruct your child step-by-step to create a beautiful piece of decor. Choose from a variety of paint colors and glitter in the workshop.

Pre-registration is required for each person

Easter Sunday at The Monte Vista!

Hop on in and join us for Easter Sunday! We will be featuring an Easter Brunch Buffet in our beautiful boutique hotel with an appearance from the Easter bunny!
The brunch will run from 11am- 3pm. Pricing is $55 for adults and $20 for kids. Price does not include tax & gratuity.
The Easter Bunny will be here from 12pm to 2pm outside at the Gazebo for photos. We will also have fun lawn games & more set up all day including an Easter Egg Hunt at noon.
The brunch buffet menu will be coming soon to our website. We look forward to celebrating with you soon!

Painting with the Animals

Let your artistic animal out!
Sign the whole family up for a step-by-step instruction painting of one of our red pandasl! Ticket price includes admission to the WNC Nature Center afterwards.
$15-$30 per adult, $20 per child, with member discounts available.
Pre-registration required. Tickets will not be sold at the door. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times during this event.

Easter Eggstravaganza

Join us for an afternoon of free fun for the whole family for our Easter Eggstravaganza on April 8th at 2:00 pm!

Games, crafts, raffle, door prizes, & huge egg hunts divided by ages. Toddler, Preschool, and Huge Egg Hunt for up to 5th Grade.

Alright y’all – get excited!! MILLS RIVER DAY is coming back to @northriverfarms! This time with a day full of sunshine! ☀️

Local vendors, Food Trucks, 3 Local Bands, Tractor Show & Plow Day, @davisranchwnc Open Horse Show, Local Emergency Services, Fly Fishing Demos from DB bar D Outfitters, Farm Animals, ….and the list goes onnnnnnn!!

Brunch with the Bunny

Join us at Mills River School Cafeteria (94 School House Rd., Mills River, NC 28759) on Saturday, April 1, 2023, from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.
All ages and abilities are welcome.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
The cost is $25 per family.
