Community Rummage Sale
Earth Day Downtown Cleanup
The Asheville Downtown Association is partnering with Asheville GreenWorks for Earth Day 2020. We encourage businesses to sign up as a team, but individual volunteers are great too! We’ll partner you up with a group. All supplies will be provided and we’ll assign your team an area upon check in. Let’s show downtown some love! Participants will be treated to lunch after the cleanup.

This event is hosted in conjunction with “Earth Month,” a month long series of service days, workshops, and events throughout April organized by WNC for the Planet, a collective of environmental non-profits within Western North Carolina. Learn more at www.wncfortheplanet.org.
Tree Climbing with Asheville Adventure Play
Climb some tall trees with the safety of rope and knots, then play in our popup adventure playground. This is a free event. Parking is limited.

Tour of West Asheville Flight Night
Presented by The Hop Ice Cream and On Haywood Road, West Asheville!
An Ice Cream exploration of the West Asheville food and beverage scene! What would be more fun than to collaborate with and showcase at The Creamery (167 Haywood Rd across from Hole Doughnuts) the many talents of our neighbors? How about helping Alice and Hugh of On Haywood celebrate the launch of their new website, http://onhaywood.com!?!?!? Now we’re talking!
There will be 5 dairy and 3 plant based vegan flavors available by the scoop, pint or Ice Cream Flight of 4. There will also be a fun prop-filled photo booth provided by On Haywood. And there will also be a Doggie Ice Cream Social (Outdoor Event) in conjunction with Patton Avenue Pet Company happening in the loading dock area.
As if that wasn’t enough, on Saturday 3/28, all of these flavors will be featured on the menu at The Hop West while supplies last!

FREE Crafting Events for Kids at all area Michael’s Stores. A cute new craft each day. And it’s all FREE, including supplies! For ages 3+ years. Parent or guardian must remain on premises.
Hendersonville Arts and Architecture Tour of Downtown
As always the Downtown Tours are at 9:00 AM on Saturday mornings and depart from in front of the Center for Art & Inspiration at 125 South Main Street.

New this year: walking tours of the Historic West Side. For the West Side Tours we meet at the Henderson County Library on Washington Street at 6:00 PM on Wednesday evenings.

The tours last approximately 90 minutes.
All tours are free of charge and no pre-registration is required. Just show up ready to walk.
