Celebrate the holidays with a local twist on a traditional classic. Brevard Ballet’s presentation of The Nutcracker brings in the story of the Silversteen family and is set in the Silvermont Mansion in Brevard, NC. Showtime is 5pm on November 24th at Jones Auditorium at Brevard High School.

Welcome Day at the Wortham begins at 10 a.m. with a free movie screening (Disney Pixar’s animated film, “Coco”), and continues with events throughout the day, including a raffle, two guided tours of the facility, outdoor music, and kids’ crafts, yoga and theatre games — and closing out at 4 p.m. with a free concert from the U.S. Army Field Band Jazz Ambassadors. Thank you so much for supporting us– before, during, and after our move. Now it’s time for us to welcome the community to check out everything our newly remodeled location has to offer for the families of Rosman and the surrounding communities in Transylvania county. UNC Asheville’s men’s basketball program announced an exhibition game with Bob Jones University scheduled for 5 p.m., Thursday, October 31 at Kimmel Arena.
Entry into the exhibition game will be FREE for all fans. The Bulldog Athletic Association will not have hospitality at the exhibition, and there will be no reserved parking.
Year Two of the Mike Morrell Era will begin Tuesday, November 5 as the Bulldogs travel to Tennessee for their regular-season opener, with their regular-season home opener scheduled for Saturday, November 16, against Brevard at Kimmel Arena.
