Halloween is coming- This year we will be doing a costume contest! We have 3 awesome prizes to give out to the best costume. The judges will be Jerry and Christian! During the day, we will have several festive games spread throughout the bar for everyone to enjoy. Not to mention candy for any trick-or-treaters!.

Tryon Halloween Stroll & Costume Contest
The Tryon Halloween Stroll will take place in Downtown on October 31, with the costume contest starting at 5:30pm at the clock tower.
Thanks to Yetees Design Screenprinting for the design! T-shirts with this design will be given out as some of the prizes.
Prizes will be given to scariest, funniest, most creative and best overall in three age groups.
There will also be a pet costume contest with prizes.
The stroll and trick or treating will follow the costume contest.
Other local businesses, nonprofits and organizations are welcome to set up a table to give out candy in Downtown Tryon. The street will be closed to vehicles at 4:30pm until after 7pm.
Tryon Downtown Development Association receives support from the Polk County Community Foundation to put on great events like these!

Free Planetarium Show
Join us for this special one day event. We are excited to partner with PARI (Pisgah Astronomical Research Institute) to offer a childhood astronomy program for ages 3-6. Parent supervision is required. Parents and child must register in order to enter planetarium. There are 4 sessions available with a limit of 25 participants in each. Please select the time slot(s) you are signing up for. Using their mobile planetarium, PARI will be holding 4 shows in one day. Each show will cover different topics on astronomy and will last approximately 30 minutes.
