Pumpkin Carving Party

It’s almost Halloween and it’s time to carve those jack-o-lanterns! Come make a pumpkin gut mess at Mica Town and leave with a beautifully carved jack-o-lantern. We’ll provide pumpkins, basic tools, stencils, and a ton of fun. All you need to bring is a festive spirit, some creativity, and any tools that you can’t carve without. Cost is $10. Please sign up to ensure there are enough materials.

Saturday Paint Day: Ages 9+

This class will be a HOOT. In this one-time, special class, students will create a painting of an owl and background, using acrylic paint on canvas. Students will use references of photographs of real owls, and we will discuss how other artists have created whimsical and stylized owls. Students will be guided through the process of creating a colorful and aesthetically pleasing owl painting that is original just like them.

Saturday Paint Day: Ages 5-8

Using bright, bold acrylic paint, students are guided through the process of painting a scene. This day will be a hoot! Students will be guided through the steps of drawing an owl and each student will chose their own colors and whimsical touches as they create their own one-of-a-kind painting.

1 1/2 hour. $30.

Painting on canvas. All supplies provided.

Please join us for an empowering workshop for kids, about understanding and overcoming bullying.

Blue Ridge Taekwondo is committed to the social/emotional education of our community’s children, and is facilitating this seminar with a licensed therapist in addition to all the skills that martial arts can bring to this issue.

Etowah UMC Holiday Craft Fair
