Sink, Set, Sip
Join us for a fly fishing event to support Casting Carolinas and Reel Recovery.
The mission of Reel Recovery is to help men in the cancer recovery process by introducing them to the healing powers of the sport of fly-fishing, while providing a safe, supportive environment to explore their personal experiences of cancer with others who share their stories.
Casting Carolinas is an organization which combines fly fishing instruction with medical education and mindfulness, to women surviving all types of cancer. Casting Carolinas is committed to working with local communities across North and South Carolina to make retreats possible for all survivors.
Sink, Set, Sip will include casting lessons, fly tying, fly fishing vendors, and live music by Mink’s Miracle Medicine from 6-9pm. We will also have an exciting raffle and silent auction, with all proceeds going to Casting Carolinas and Reel Recovery. $1 per pint of cider sold during the event will also be donated directly to the organizations.
This event will also feature a special ‘Steal the Pint’ so stay tuned for more details!
Grab a pint, grab your fishing partner, and join us for a night of fun in Mills River. Together we can help both organizations raise the funds they need to provide cancer survivors the opportunity to join one of their life-changing weekend retreats.
