The brand new Buncombe County Schools Aquatics Center (formerly known as the Zeugner Skyland Recreation Center behind TC Roberson High School) now has open lap swim times for the public! The 17,380 square foot building features a 10-lane, 400,000 gallon climate-controlled pool. The center also includes 420 spectator seats, a state-of-the-art timing and scoreboard system, UV water filtration, and numerous energy efficient design features. The facility is also available for group rentals.
$5/Day Passes (credit/debit only)

Pollinator Garden Tour & Beekeeper Talk
The park’s naturalist will give a tour of the Pollinator Garden and the new, still developing, Wildflower Meadow. The park’s beekeeper will demonstrate beekeeping tools and methods and discuss how everyone can support honeybees and other pollinators through their own actions.
RSVP not required. There is no cost. All ages are welcome!

The Moon and You (Album Release Show) (2pm EARLY SHOW)
Join us for a star-studded, sleepy celebration!
We’ll have kid-friendly activities including The Jolly Balloonsmiths, a photo booth, ice cream from The Hop Ice Cream Cafe and more – along with gorgeous live music for the whole family!
The first set will be quieter time, as we play the lullaby album in full; kids can get cozy in our pillow fort in front of the stage. Then we’ll switch gears to more upbeat, dance-party music to finish out the event!

With the help of many current and former high school and college soccer players, your child will have the opportunity to develop and enhance their soccer skills, learn the rules of the game, and participate in a safe, upbeat, and sociable environment.
