Base Camp on the Go

“Base Camp on the Go” is a new traveling recreation program from Waynesville Parks & Recreation. There will be activities like log rolling, Zorb balls and more! This program is completely FREE for everyone!

Starts June 10th, and runs all summer until school starts again! Look for the Base Camp On The Go truck coming to a park near you!

Teen Yoga

We are so excited to collaborate with Blue Ridge Treks in the creation of Yoga for Teens. This class, led by certified yoga instructor and Blue Ridge Treks employee Katie Rinaldi, is a gentle, breath-centered practice focused on linking movement with breath. It is based on the classical tradition of Viniyoga meant to encourage self-healing, self-empowerment, self-discovery, self-awareness, self-reflection and personal transformation.

Kidding Around Yoga (4+yrs)

An age appropriate yoga practice including breathing instruction, relaxing techniques, stretching and strengthening poses all using fun-filled music, games, and imagination. This class will keep your child motivated, excited, and moving! A perfect introduction to yoga and mindfulness for the young child. Ages 4+

FREE Mama Support Group

This FREE support group is for anyone who identifies with the struggles of mothering, in any stage and all stages. Our hope for this group is to provide an open, judgement-free, positive space to find support, inspiration and friendship. Whether your children are newborn, over-grown or yet to be born, you are welcome. Children of all ages are also welcome to attend, but feel free to come alone too.

Parents Night Out (4+yrs)

Sure, meditation, deep breaths and down dogs can do wonders to improve your mood, decrease stress and shift your perspective. But, sometimes, what we really need is a break! The third Saturday of every month EVERYBODY Yoga will host a Parent’s Night Out so you can release, unwind and restore. Children ages 4+ will spend the evening engaging in mindful, yoga-based games and optional art projects, and then cuddle-up on yoga mats, bolsters and blankets to watch a movie projected movie theater style onto the large studio wall. Organic, vegan snacks included. 6pm-9pm, $18/child. Pre-Registration required.

Tots Yoga (strong walkers-3yrs)

Every Tuesday, 10:00am-10:45am – Tots Yoga with Ruth at Yoga and Massage in Hendersonville. “Partner with your toddler in simple animated poses, games, music and breathing exercises that help to strengthen coordination and build body awareness. We’ll bark in downward dog, hiss in cobra pose and flutter our wings in butterfly, while we take a yoga journey that your child will never forget! This fun class provides key bonding methods between parent and child, while strengthening their growing muscles.” Parent/Caregiver & Child (strong walkers – 3 yrs). $10
