Cookie Decorating Party
Must purchase tickets through eventbrite link provided in order to attend.
Each event is 1 hour. So be sure to arrive on time.
Each child will be given 6 themed cookies each and learn basic decorating techniques. Each child will be given a box to take home their designs.
Event is open to all ages, parents be prepared to assist your child if they are younger in age.
We provide all decorating tools and equipment.
Party will be outdoor patio and weather permitting. (If bad weather occurs on your event date we will reschedule)
No child is to be left unattended at our facility, an adult must remain on premises with them.

Asheville Buncombe Aeromodelers Flying Demo and Exhibit
Join the Asheville-Buncombe Aeromodelers Flying Club at the Buncombe County Sports Park from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday, August 4th for this FREE event.
The Club will put on a high flying air show and display of many of their models. Pilots fly various types of aircraft ranging from small aircraft powered by electric motors to gasoline powered 1:3 scale airplanes. Many of the members are master aircraft builders and have built their own model planes from balsa wood and plywood. Try your hand at flying with an instructor. The Club, collectively, has hundreds of years of flying and building experience. Free flight and control line pilots are represented at this Show.
Bring the family, pack a picnic lunch, lawn chairs and don’t forget the sun screen. You can enter a raffle for your chance to win a Ready to Fly Mini Apprentice S plane, provided by: MOTIONRC.
It’s a fabulous day of high-flying fun!
Buncombe County Sports Park is located at 58 Apac Drive off of Sand Hill Rd., just past Sandhill-Venable Elementary School.

Fall may be a few weeks away yet but it’s already looking like apple season up here. We have a great crop this year and are opening U-Pick 2018 beginning July 25th. Hours: Open every day 9a-6p.

West Asheville Historic District Clean up (kid & pet friendly)
Join Asheville GreenWorks and Second Gear for a neighborhood cleanup of West Asheville’s Historic District. This is a kid and pet friendly volunteering opportunity. Cleanup supplies (bags, gloves, vests and grabbers) will be provided.
