Tickets to Asheville Tourists July 4th game and post-game Fireworks Extravaganza go on sale

Tickets to the July 4th Asheville Tourists Baseball Club game go on sale at 10:00am in the morning, Saturday, April 28th!

Fireworks and Independence Day baseball are ready to hit the Blue Ridge in 2018. The Asheville Tourists play host to the Rome Braves on July 4th. The best post-game Fireworks display in Western North Carolina will follow the action on the field and conclude the evening in style.

Tickets for the July 4th contest and post-game Fireworks Extravaganza go on sale at the ServPro Box office inside the front gates at McCormick Field on Saturday, April 28th at 10:00am. Tickets may also be purchased online by clicking here or by calling the Front Office at (828) 258-0428.

All seats inside McCormick Field are individually reserved for July 4th. Ticket prices begin at $11 per person. A game ticket grants access to the game and the post-game Fireworks show. The gates to McCormick Field open on July 4th at 6:00pm and the first pitch is scheduled for 7:05pm.

The Tourists are currently in the midst of a homestand that runs through Sunday, April 29th. For individual game tickets, flex ticket plans, or group ticketing options visit the ServPro Box Office or call the Front Office at (828) 258-0428 ext. 203.

Intro to Herpetology-FREE Kids Program

Scientists need YOUR help in studying animals everywhere, including your own backyard!

Join us for an introduction to herpetology, the study of reptiles and amphibians. You’ll learn all about our scaly and slimy friends and even meet a few live animals! You can also join our crew of ecoEXPLORERS — kids who submit observations of plants and animals for scientists to study and earn prizes while they do it.

Find out how you can earn your Herpetology Field Badge and a free pass to Box Turtle Day on June 9th. For ages 5 to 13 but all ages are welcome to attend.
