Tin to Plastic; The Toys That Made Us
ZaPow’s first open juried show invites artists to create work inspired by their favorite toys. Whether it’s tin Robots and Ray Guns to shiny plastic He-man, She-Ra or more recent Pokemon, we can’t wait to see what you create.
“Tin to Plastic” is open to artists currently living in the United States, ages 19 and above, of all backgrounds and experiences.
After the submission deadline, a selection of artworks will be chosen to be exhibited in Tin to Plastic; The Toys That Made Us, a group show highlighting the finalists, opening on Saturday, July 14th, 2018. Opening Reception: Saturday, July 14th, 7-9pm What: Free Beer * Music * Show Runs July 14th – August 25th, 2018 Entry Requirements: All submitted artworks must be for sale (priced at a reasonable market rate) and available to be exhibited at ZaPow from July 14th – August 25th, 2018.
Upon the sale of an artwork, ZaPow will earn a commission of fifty percent (50%) of the net proceeds from the sale. (Current member artists will keep their usual 83%) Please **Size limit: Paintings – 3 x 4 feet; Sculptures – 3 x 3
Entrance Fee: Free for ZaPow Member Artists, $35 for 3 submissions for general public ($10 for each additional submission)

Easter is an incredible day to celebrate, and we want you to celebrate it at Brevard Music Center. Brevard Community Church will host Easter at Brevard Music Center, Sunday, 4/21. There’s something for the whole family!
Gates will open at 10:00 a.m. with the service beginning at 10:30 a.m. There are many activities to follow, including:
