Chili Cook-Off and Viewing Party

This is it. The competition to end all competitions. Only the best will prevail.

That’s right, it’s the Archetype Chili cook-off. Think you’ve got what it takes? Bring your best pot o’ chili down to Archetype Brewing on Superbowl Sunday, and let the masses decide. We’ll provide the bowls and silverware, you bring whatever toppings or fixin’s you want to serve, and your fellow patrons will vote on their favorite. The winner will get a $50 gift card for use in the taproom!

Meanwhile, we’ll be screening the big game on our MASSIVE projector screen. With plenty of seating, a family-friendly atmosphere, warm chili, and great beer…what could be better?

To enter the Chili Cook-Off, please email taproom@archetypebrewing.com ahead of time to let us know you’re coming.

Ninja Night aka Parent’s Night Out (4-12yrs)

Even the most “ninja” parents need a break sometimes. Enter the Ninja Kids Night In, Parents Night Out!
This is not your typical babysitting drop-off. We are setting up a kids haven!
We’ll begin with martial arts exercises and games. Then there’s free time with martial arts themed centers set up for kids of all ages to explore.  More fun games follow with plenty of running, leaping, and teamwork!
Then, we serve a pizza dinner with carrot sticks. Kids are also allowed to bring their own food (nut free).
Next, kids help to build an imaginary campfire and snuggle up to hear ancient Ninja stories and watch Disney’s Mulan!

Stage Production: The Sultan’s Wife

February 3 -18 at Attic Salt Theatre Arts Space
Saturdays at 10:00am
Sundays at 2:00pm
Tickets are only $5 and grandparents are always FREE!
February 4th’s performance is a FREE part of our Open House

No one likes eating mouse tongue or mosquito tongue. Not even if the tongues are sautéed or fricasseed. You don’t want them, I don’t want them, and our Sultan’s lovely wife doesn’t want them either. Come and see what happens when a hapless Sultan misunderstands the advice of a poor man and leaves his wife lonely, hungry and facing down plates of curried tongue in this original adaptation of a classic folktale. Great for ages 5+

Directed by Marci Bernstein and features Candice Burchill, Meg Liner, Christy Montesdeoca, Haven Volpe and Mike Yow.
