Drone Aviation Class with StarDust FPV (Kinder-Adult)

Did you just get a drone as a gift and have no clue how to operate it? Were you thinking about getting one or wondering what the hype is? Sign up to participate in our new drone flight group with host Brian Weller from StarDust FPV! Class will be indoors in our auditorium at Pack Library.

Our drones are lightweight, beginner drones, but if you have your own, feel free to bring it. Once you understand the basics on how to fly, hover, and flip, Brian will conduct drone races and teach some handy ways to fix and upgrade your drone at home! You can also sign up to be in the StarDust FPV Drone Racing League of Asheville.

**Everyone who registers will be given a drone to use in the class, (unless you are bringing your own), and safety glasses as a precaution.**

ALL ages are welcome to participate. Children under 12 must have a parent/guardian with them. We have a limited amount of drones, so please click sign up at the link below to secure your place. https://www.buncombecounty.org/Governing/Depts/Library/calendar.aspx?trumbaEmbed=view%3Devent%26eventid%3D126558340

If you are using your own drone, please email erin.makara@buncombecounty.org and let her know that you will be bringing it, that way you will be registered and someone else will be able to get into the class as well! This is a two part series, registration is for both of the classes in February. The second class will be on Saturday, February 24 at 10:30 AM.

(Due to possible inclement weather, we will give notification by email if the class has to be rescheduled, we will also post the information on our Pack Memorial Library Facebook page.)

**This class is Free courtesy of the Friends of the Library who run Bookends Used Book Store at Pack Library – Asheville, NC
