Santa’s Mailbox is officially open!

Join us Friday December 1, 2017 from 6:00-8:00pm at Harvest Records for the opening reception of “Other Stuff” by Colin Sutherland.
Colin Sutherland is best know for his illustration works and being a founder of Woolly Press, a risograph design, print, and publishing shop in Asheville.
His upcoming show “Other Stuff” will feature, you guessed it, other stuff he is working on when not illustrating for Woolly Press. “Other Stuff will highlight his editorial illustrations for “No Depression” a roots music magazine, The Walkin Kitchen, an online food blog, as well as passion projects including: new illustrations, handmade fishing lures, and his series of one-of-a-kind board and card games.
Refresehments will be provided. We hope to see you!
For nearly two years, a group of community leaders have been working to create a model for expanding access to affordable, high-quality preschool in Buncombe County. The Asheville Buncombe Preschool Planning Collaborative (ABPPC) has recently released its report and wants to gather feedback from parents. Please join us for a focus group, facilitated by Western Carolina University’s Public Policy Institute. Snacks and $15 gift cards will be provided to each participant. Limited child care is available by calling Caroline Rodier at 828-407-2053 or emailing caroline@buncombepfc.org by 5pm on Monday, November 27th.
Come to Zaniac’s Drop & Shop Holiday Camps at Zaniac on Saturday, December 9 and 16.
Your child can enjoy Winter Wonderland activities while you shop and enjoy lunch or coffee in Biltmore Park! Design your own snowflake on our 3D printer, make glittery slime and make in snow in Minecraft! The morning camp will be from 10 a.m.-1:30 p.m. and the afternoon camps will be from 1:30 pm-5 p.m. Camps include snacks and a free Zaniac water bottle. The price is $29/camp.
Available for kids in Grades K-8. Pre-registration is recommended to guarantee your child has a place in the camp.

The morning camp will be from 10 a.m.-1:30 p.m. and the afternoon camps will be from 1:30 pm-5 p.m.
If you missed the Asheville Holiday Parade, WLOS/ABC will air it at 9 a.m. Thanksgiving Day.
