Christmas with a cause!
Follow Mary and Joseph down the long and winding road to Bethlehem by way of Liverpool! This is the story of Emmanuel set to the music of the Beatles. This is NOT your Mammaw’s Christmas pageant! This IS a fundraiser in support of Eliada Home. Admission $10.00 per person and donations accepted at the door before and after the event.

Old Fort Christmas Parade
The annual Christmas Parade in Old Fort is on the second Saturday of December at 3 pm with line up at 2pm (RESCHEDULED TO 6:00pm) at the Elementary School. Call 668-4244, 460-6577 or 442-3869 for date and information.
Join the Friends of the Mountain Gateway Museum and the MGM staff at our free Christmas Open House. The museum and cabins will be decorated for a mountain Christmas, which you can enjoy while you warm up with free cider or coffee and holiday cookies. Enjoy bluegrass versions of your favorite holiday songs courtesy of Possum Creek.
The Friends of the Mountain Gateway Museum (FotMGM) will be selling luminaries, which will be displayed during the Open House on the museum’s grounds. The luminaries cost $5.00 each with proceeds benefiting the FotMGM supporting the museum in educational programming and community outreach. All orders must be turned in and paid for by November 25.

South Rock is proud to announce that we will be joining forces with Sheep Dog to provide Breakfast with 🎅 Santa. The event will be at South Rock this Saturday from 8 a.m until 11 a.m. All proceeds go to our local veterans and first responders. So don’t forget ~ Santa will be here this Saturday! Come eat some breakfast, talk to Santa and help support a wonderful cause. We hope to see you there!

For the first time, visitors are invited to dine in the Sandburg Home! The menu features a variety of teas accompanied by scones, sandwiches, and desserts served by a Southern Cup. This special holiday event is hosted by the Friends of Carl Sandburg at Connemara.
