DOWN THE CHIMNEY HE GOES!
Dec 7th & 14th 11:00am-2:00pm – Santa on the Chimney at Chimney Rock State Park. Ever wondered how Santa gets ready for all his chimney climbing on Christmas night? He practices on Chimney Rock! Make your list and bring it to Santa and Mrs. Claus, enjoy live holiday music, hot cocoa, cookies and kids’ activities, meet live Park animal educators and more. Included with admission.

From 8:00am-11:00am, stop in to Old Rock Cafe and have Breakfast with the Elves! Join Mrs. Claus and Santa’s elves for morning breakfast and a special Christmas story at 10 a.m. You’ll not only enjoy festive breakfast foods, but you’ll also get to share your wish list with Mrs. Claus and learn a little more about Jolly Old St. Nick. No reservations required. First come, first served. Activities included with price of breakfast.

Win a Free Climb with Santa’s elves! Each day, one lucky guest will win free two-hour rock climbing lessons for two with Santa’s professional helpers, Fox Mountain Guides.

Candle Lighting Ceremony

Be surrounded by warmth and love as we remember and collectively mourn children who have died. This event is held in conjunction with the Compassionate Friends’ Worldwide Candle Lighting. Light refreshments will be served. All parents as well as relatives and friends of those who have experienced child loss are welcome.

13th Annual Free Community Thanksgiving Dinner

Thursday, 11.23.17, Thanksgiving Day, while our pizza ovens will get a rest we will be open from noon until 3pm for our 12th Free Community Thanksgiving Dinner.

For anyone who might be alone or in need come celebrate the day with us and many of our friends.

Enjoy a full Thanksgiving Dinner of turkey, ham, and all the traditional side dishes and of course a selection of homemade pies.

One of the ways we say to the community thanks for making our business a part of the Weaverville family.

YMCA Indoor Winter Market – South

The only winter market in south Buncombe County is at the Reuter Family Y on Wednesday afternoons. Now in its second year, the market features more than 20 vendors selling local produce, crafts, cheese, baked goods, breads, meats, and specialty products.
