Start your day off at the Hilltop Fall Festival in downtown MyRutherfordton from 10AM-5PM. With over 135 food and craft vendors, live entertainment, activities, and MORE, the annual Hilltop Fall Festival is a fun and FREE family-friendly event for all to enjoy!
Wrap up your Saturday in Forest City with the Legacy Motown Revue Concert at POPS! From 7–10 PM, experience a live tribute to Motown legends like The Temptations, The Four Tops, The Jacksons, and Earth, Wind & Fire, featuring incredible singers, dancers, and a six-piece horn band. This is a FREE concert for all ages—no tickets required!
‘Circle of Parents’ Parenting Group
Weekly, Wednesdays 5:30pm-7:15pm
“The group is open to ALL parents, caregivers, grandparents and their children. Join us weekly in creating a safe and nurturing place for you and your children to expand your village, become centered, and share your wisdom.”
Dinner & childcare provided. Dinner is from 5:30 to 6 & Group runs from 6 to 7:15.

Balken Roofing Fall Festival/Trunk or Treat
We hope you can join us once again for the 2018 Fall Festival and Trunk or Treat at the Spring Mountain Community Center of Fairview, NC! The will be food, games, fun, and a tractor ride! Bring the kids!!!
Lake James Dragon Boat Festival
This family-friendly event will include local and regional teams coming together to race against each other in a series of heats and will take place at Paddy’s Creek in Lake James State Park, NC. The event will begin at 9 am and conclude around approximately 4 pm. Spectators are encouraged to come to the park with their lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the festivities.
Food vendors and music will keep the event lively for all throughout the day!
Bearfootin’ Bear Auction
Join us for this exciting live fundraising auction on the Historic Courthouse stairs where the high bid gets a bear and contributes to local non-profit and art in Historic Downtown.
