Plein Air Painting Demonstration

The Asheville Urban Landscape Painters are offering up a demonstration of plein air painting, across the street from the Basilica of St. Lawrence in downtown Asheville. Lisa Blackshear will demo and all are welcome to join in and learn the style alongside her (bring your own painting or sketching supplies). We’re proud to be a partial funder of this project by offering these talented painters one of our grants to continue the work that they’re doing and hope you’re able to attend and learn more.

Believe Run 5K

5K and Fun Run to benefit the family of Shane Wyatt.

What’s in the name?
The name Believe Run has a personal story to it that I’m not sure Terra even knows. Over a year and half ago Terra Wyatt is the one that inspired me and BELIEVED in me to begin my running journey. I wouldn’t be where I am if it wasn’t for Terra Wyatt. My running journey has changed my life in so many ways. Now, WE BELIEVE IN TERRA. You must BELIEVE in yourself to overcome obstacles. You must BELIEVE in others to help you along the way. You must BELIEVE in your faith to keep you strong.

“Believe in yourself and all that you are. Know that there is something inside you that is greater than any obstacle.” -Christian D. Larson

Sign up today to support this wonderful family.
