Award-Winning Storyteller Adam Booth at Two Libraries in August (5+yrs)
Nationally-recognized storyteller Adam Booth will give two free performances at Buncombe County Libraries in August. The events are for adults and for children ages 5 and older.
Adam Booth’s storytelling blends traditional folklore, music, and an awareness of contemporary Appalachia. His original voice, both humorous and touching, is influenced by generations of diverse storytellers from West Virginia. His stories and recordings have been honored with two Parents’ Choice awards, three Storytelling World Award recognitions, and four West Virginia Liars’ Contest wins. He was a featured teller at the 2015 International Storytelling Festival in Jonesborough, Tennessee.
These free shows will be Tuesday, August 16 at 3pm at the Black Mountain Library and Thursday, August 18 at 2pm the Leicester Library. Call either library for more information.

Get Hooked on RECYCLING!
Join Captain Tater Tot, Pirate Captain and Ringmaster, who loses all his circus cargo in a mighty storm at sea.
This aquatic adventure has bubbles, spraying water, and tons of puns…plus it features puppets made from recycled plastic bottles.
Circus acts include: a tap dancing Octopus, a unicyclist Seahorse, and a tightrope walking Starfish.
But did Seymore the Shark come to join the circus… or just eat it?

The Montford Moppets
This weekend only! At 6pm, right before “Measure for Measure,” the kids of The Montford Moppets present fo of Shakespeare’s greatest scenes and their modern translations! Bring a picnic and make an evening of it!
The Moppets are suffering pouring rain, blistering sun and even blackouts, all for YOUR entertainment. Come support this group of future Shakespeare scholars as they present some favorite scenes of Shakespeare’s and translate them into their own language! You’ve never seen the likes of this before!
The show is presented before Montford Park Players’ mainstage production of Measure for Measure, at 6pm, August 19th, 20th and 21st.

Operation Give Back: First Responders and their Family Members Day
A day at Launch for all First Responders and Family Members
We here at Launch Trampoline Park want to welcome everyone to our First Annual Operation Give Back Day on August 21 2016, where First Responders get to play as hard as they work. We are grateful for the hard work and dedication to the community and want to say thanks!
We will have emergency vehicles here at the park for the children to explore as they too admire the heroic work that First Responders do on a daily basis. On this day, First Responders will receive $5 off jump time or 25% off family packages. ID will be required to receive the discount.
