Hi-Wire Brewing Big Top 1 Year Anniversary Party
Family friendly event to celebrate HiWire’s Big Top 1 year anniversay. Join us for facepainting, tarot readings, stilt walker, aerialist and our doubles trapeze team…Beauty & the Beast. Showtimes are 5:30, 6:30, 7:30 and 8:30pm. Stick around for Unifire after dark.
Additionally, we will be pouring eight never to be seen again sour beers, and releasing the Third Anniversary Beer, a Bottle Conditioned Gin-Barrel Fermented Tart Wild Ale Brewed with Lemongrass in 750 ml, cork and caged bottles.
As always we’ll have amazing eats by our permanent food truck, Foothills Local Meast.

Folkmoot: Smoky Mountain Center for the Performing Arts
The full complement of 10 visiting dance troupes will perform at Franklin’s fabulous entertainment complex. Tickets are available through the Smoky Mountain Center of Performing Arts online box office.

Folkmoot 2016 – Parade in Franklin, NC!
Join us for a Folkmoot first! The first time our international folk dance troupes have paraded through Downtown Franklin. It will be a festive occasion and fun for the whole family.
The parade is free and open to all!
Following the parade, all 10 Folkmoot dance troupes will perform a complete show at the Smoky Mountain Center for the Performing Arts.

Blueberry Picking
2018 OPENING DATE: Jul 12th (picking will be a bit light as we start. However, there are plenty of berries to ripen as the season progresses)
HOURS: Mondays & Tuesdays 4:00pm-6:30pm AND Thursdays & Saturdays 8:30am-until picked out (usually mid-afternoon)
COST: $2/pint, or $5/3 pints (cash or local check only (sorry no cards or apps))
DESCRIPTION: Pick-Your-Own Only. Containers are provided. “We are not organic, however we do practice IPM – integrated pest management – which is scouting for issues and only spraying if needed. The berries were last sprayed with a fungicide at the start of bloom. And no insecticides have been used”

Koo Koo Kanga Roo
Koo Koo Kanga Roo are coming back to play Asheville, NC July 24th and the fine people at the Carolina Day School are hosting us in their gym.
The show is free (Thanks to Carolina Day School) we just ask that you RSVP. Doors open at 1:30m pm. Koo Koo plays at 2pm. Bring some money to get some cool merch and get ready to dance.
Koo Koo Kanga Roo is a band/comedy duo/workout franchise who are on this planet to make you dance while laughing so hard that milk comes out of your nose. Whether you’re getting sweaty at their live show, listening to their concept albums or dancing along in your classroom via GoNoodle, Bryan and Neil just want to make sure you’re having a blast.
Since 2008, Koo Koo Kanga Roo have been touring and putting on shows at elementary school gyms, bars, church basements and even nursing homes. The duo has toured stateside and internationally with the likes of Frank Turner, The Aquabats, MC Lars, Yo Gabba Gabba Live and have been featured on the Vans Warped Tour. In 2015 the band played over 150 live shows.
