Capoeira Angola Drop-In Class (all ages)
Fridays 10:00am – Capoeira Angola with Emily Fader at Kasumi Mountain Martial Arts in Asheville!
“Capoeira is a martial art and game. It’s playful and involves music and movement. It’s from Brazil via Angola brought by enslaved Africans to fight for freedom. It’s a beautiful dance and playful non violent martial art. It is wonderful for creative expression, body awareness, musical skills and exposure to foreign language since the simple melodies are in Brazilian Portuguese.”
Drop-In. $5-$10/Sliding Scale. For more information, call 828-713-9149
