  • East Asheville @ Haw Creek Elementary … Need some fun for the family?! Brookstone Church is bringing rock climbing, a big balloon egg hunt, laser tag and more to East Asheville! Spring Family Night is a FREE EVENT packed with activities, food, and community at Haw Creek Elementary on April 11 at 6:30pm! Bring your family, grab a friend and meet new friends at Spring Family Night! What to Expect: Interactive activities like a rock climbing wall, laser tag, trolley rides and a big balloon egg hunt, Delicious food & treats. A fun and welcoming space to connect and build community.
  • Candler @ Enka Intermediate School … Need some fun for the family?! Brookstone Church has a helicopter egg drop and plenty of fried Oreos for your family and friends in Candler! Spring Family Night is April 11th at Enka Intermediate School! We’ll have FREE hotdogs, funnel fries and fried Oreos. Don’t forget your baskets for a Helicopter egg drop!   • Weaverville @ Brookstone Park … Need some fun for the family?! Brookstone Church is ready to build, plant, play and picnic together in Weaverville! At Spring Family Night at Brookstone Park, you can: Build your own Derby Car with hammer and nails Plant your own Flower Pot with soil and seeds, Play on a bunch of inflatables and carnival rides, Picnic with your family by roasting provided hotdogs over a fire or grill. Easter Brunch

Join us in the taproom on Sunday, April 9th from 10AM to 3PM for our Easter Brunch, where we will have special Easter brunch features alongside our delicious Bluegrass Brunch menu!

Easter Marbling Classes

Perfect activity for parents and children during the Easter week vacation. Come and experiment with floating paint, drawing designs and printing on paper!!
One parent and at least one child 5 years old to 12 years in this class.
The family group will be able to choose one marbled Easter egg by Pam to take home in addition to all the papers.
Each participant will marble 1 egg of their very own!!

Easter Egg Hunt & Haunt Night

April 5th & 12th!

Join us for our annual Easter Egg Hunt & Haunt. A family friendly event for all ages. Our characters will be trying to steal your eggs. Prizes for everyone!

Shell: A Puppet Show for Children

Easter Make and Take Workshop

Join us for a Spring/Easter-themed Make & Take workshop! We provide all the materials and instruct you step-by-step to create a beautiful piece for your home or for a gift. Choose from a variety of paint colors in the workshop. Please note, that due to the size of these projects, no personalization is accepted.

  • Pre-registration is required. 
  • One painter per project/registration.
  • Project sharing is not permitted.
  • This is a stencil only workshop.
  • Wood will be pre-stained; you will add stencil paint and finishing touches in the 45 minutes

Easter Egg Hunt and Picnic

Join us for Fellowship and a great time for the whole family! There will be indoor activities if it rains.

Annual Spring Fling Festival

Craft fair, Smashville Food Truck, LIVE music, mechanical bull and ALL the plant shopping you could ever want!

Ross Farm and Appalachian Standard’s 4th Annual Spring Fling Plant Festival is happening Saturday, May 3rd from 12-4 p.m!

Here’s what’s in store…

  • 22 greenhouses filled with a spectacular variety of plants for every gardening enthusiast
  • An impressive selection of mixed patio planters, hanging baskets, perennials, indoor houseplants, shrubs, plant starts, & more

The festival features much more than just plants!

  • LIVE music throughout the day
  • Delicious food options from Smasheville Food Truck
  • ️ Craft fair featuring artisan jewelry, home goods, & more
  • Kid-friendly activities (Scavenger hunt & potting station)
  • Mechanical bull riding for the adventurous
  • Appalachian Standard will have their hemp/CBD products available

With attendance typically reaching 600-900 visitors, carpooling is strongly encouraged to help with parking availability.

Mother’s Day Market Craft Fair

Visit the farm for the 4th Annual Mother’s Day Market Craft Fair! Over 25 local crafters will be selling their handmade items. The Heritage Weavers & Fiber Artists will have demonstrations, and the historic farm house will be open for visitors to explore. Farm gardeners will have a number of different plants for sale. Hot dog meals will be available for purchase. Parking will be across the street at Rugby Middle School, and volunteers from the Sheriff’s Office will help guests cross the street. Handicapped parking available at the farm.
