Paddlesports Demo Day

Demo Days: May 15, June 5, June 19, July 23 & Aug 7th.

They’re absolutely free and an opportunity to try out all of the models we keep in stock and get tips from our team of experts.

Join us at our final Paddlesports Demo Day of the year to test drive our fleet of kayaks + SUPs. We’ll also take 10% OFF you boats + 20% OFF your accessories if you decide to purchase after your demo.

Whether you’re a novice or expert, our demo days are great for any paddler. Just like all of our outdoor classes + clinics, this is FREE + open to the public — no membership required! We’ll be at Shelter #4.

We are excited to have the festival take over the Center for Craft’s basement space Saturday, June 30 from 12–5 p.m. The fest will showcase over 50 independent publishers, small press and creators of zines, comics, chapbooks, anthologies, pamphlets, and other readables. The 8th Annual Walk a Mile Asheville

Join us for the 8th Annual Walk a Mile!

A community rally and one-mile walk through downotwn Asheville – we invite you to wear whatever shoes you choose (we will have some fun shoes for rent too) – as a symbolic act of solidarity for survivors of sexual violence and in support of the amazing work that Our VOICE does in our community and beyond!

Check in and registration begins at 10:00am (you can register online now for $25 at https://www.firstgiving.com/ourvoice/walk-a-mile-asheville-2017 or register same day for $30). Rally beigns at 10:45, walk begins at 11:00 and closing ceremony begins at 12:00.

Sam Knob Summit Trail Hike

Sam Knob Summit Trail off the Blue Ridge Parkway

Join us for the panoramic views from the top of the Sam Knob Summit (elevation 6,045 feet) located right off the Blue Ridge Parkway!! This 2.2 mile round-trip moderate trail will take us down an old road through a meadow, toward the summit where we will take a few switchbacks for a very gradual incline to the top. The trail is rocky is some parts so carriers and expert walkers only. We will have a picnic lunch at the top while enjoying the views before we return on the same trail.

March for Babies – Asheville Area 2016
